Plan details and what each tier includes

Free. Every facility on StowHelp starts here. Free includes basic listing details (name, city, state, ZIP, primary phone or contact form), search visibility on the appropriate state and city pages, lead routing to your email, and inclusion in the relevant category pages. There is no time limit on the free tier - facilities stay listed indefinitely without payment. Roughly 60% of our directory is on the free tier and that ratio stays steady. The free tier exists because comprehensive coverage matters more to us than upsell pressure.

Premium ($29/month). Adds photos (up to 12 per listing), phone-click tracking with monthly call reports, SMS lead notifications (in addition to email), priority placement above free listings within the same city, custom listing description (free is template-based), and access to your owner dashboard for self-service edits. Most facilities on Premium see a 5-15x lead volume lift over their free-tier baseline within 60 days. Cancel anytime; no annual commitment.

Elite ($79/month). Includes everything in Premium plus a verified badge (we cross-reference your business email domain, phone number, and physical address against state business registries), lead priority routing (Elite leads route ahead of Premium and Free in the same city), facility analytics dashboard (search impressions, click-through rates, lead conversion by source), 30+ photos, video walkthrough embed, and ability to respond publicly to reviews. Elite is the right tier for facilities serious about lead generation and brand presentation.

City Sponsor ($149/month). The exclusivity tier. One Sponsor per (city, category) combination - if you sponsor "boat storage in Miami," no other facility can sponsor that exact combo. Includes a "City Sponsor" badge, top-of-results placement (above all other tiers), exclusive ad placement on the city page header, full review-response controls, custom welcome message in lead emails, and quarterly market reports specific to your city. City Sponsor is best for facilities that want to dominate their local market and are willing to invest accordingly.

How billing works

All paid tiers are month-to-month with no annual contract. Billing is handled by Square (PCI-compliant, supports all major cards). Your card is charged on the same day each month for the duration of your subscription. You can cancel from your owner dashboard at any time - we do not require a phone call, email exchange, or "retention specialist" gauntlet to cancel. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you keep paid features through the end of the cycle you already paid for.

Annual prepay options are available with a discount (typically 10-15% off the monthly rate). Email support@stowhelp.com if you want to set this up. Refunds are available within the first 14 days of any new paid subscription, no questions asked. After 14 days, paid time is non-refundable but cancellation is still immediate.

Payment failures trigger our dunning sequence: email reminder on day 1, second reminder on day 4, paused listing on day 7, and full downgrade to free on day 14. Throughout the dunning period your listing stays visible (just paused-feature flagged). If your card was declined for an unrelated reason - bank fraud freeze, expired card, etc. - you can update payment any time via the dashboard and re-activate immediately without losing reviews, photos, or listing history.

What you keep when you cancel or downgrade

Cancellation does not delete your listing or your data. Your listing reverts to the free tier with all the standard free-tier visibility intact. Photos, descriptions, custom branding, and analytics history are preserved (just hidden behind the paywall until you re-upgrade). If you re-subscribe later, every paid feature lights back up immediately - no re-uploading photos, no re-writing descriptions. Reviews and lead history are permanent and never deleted, regardless of plan tier.

Add-on options

A la carte add-ons available on any paid tier include: Additional Cities ($9/mo per city) - if you operate facilities in multiple cities, each additional city beyond the primary listing requires a separate add-on; Additional Categories ($5/mo per category) - if your facility stores boats AND RVs AND trailers, you appear in all three categories at no extra cost on Premium and above; the add-on applies if you want to be listed in even more categories beyond your three primary types; Verified Badge Audit ($49 one-time) - expedited badge verification for facilities that need it within 48 hours instead of the standard 5-7 business day queue.

Who paid plans are right for

Free is right for you if: you have a small operation in a small market, you do not have time to actively manage a listing, you already have all the customers you can handle, OR you want to be discovered by searchers but do not need to actively compete for visibility.

Premium is right for you if: you have capacity available, you want to actively grow your customer base, you want to track lead volume and conversion, OR you operate in a competitive market where photos and proper presentation matter.

Elite is right for you if: lead generation is a meaningful part of your business strategy, you want analytics to inform marketing decisions, you have invested in your facility's brand and want that to come through, OR you want priority routing on inbound leads.

City Sponsor is right for you if: you operate in a major market where capacity comes and goes, you want to dominate one specific city/category niche, exclusive presence matters to your competitive positioning, OR you have ad budget that you would rather spend on owned visibility than Google Ads.
